| ITRCC is established to serve the business community by offering standardized and customized training programs, professional certificates and diploma. This is in collaboration with the most distinguished professional bodies all over the world. ITRCC also offers consultation, conducts research, and prepares specialized studies in all different IT related areas.
The service offered by the ITRCC covers three main tracks:
- Training to the Industries in 6th of October as well as to ACU Students. Multiple courses have been and are being conducted. ITRCC has UNESCO certification for ICDL Training and Testing Center. ITRCC has also CISCO Certification for Computer Networks Administration.
- Consultation to the Government of Egypt as well as the Private Sector. Current activities include consultations with the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Ministry of National Defence & Military Production, and Ministry of Endowments (Awkaf). It includes also joint ventures with key Enterprises in Egypt and abroad.
- Research in the areas of Computers & Information Technology. ITRCC has also collaborative research and strategic alliances with International Research Organizations in multiple projects each one is a multi-million Egyptian Pounds Project.

Facilities
The Faculty of Computer Science and IT has 12 laboratories. The first laboratory is an English language lab to strengthen the students in the English language which is the language of instructions. The other 11 laboratories cover various aspects of hardware, software, and computers networks. One of the laboratories is a specialized logic design lab. Another lab is a specialized microprocessor lab. A third lab is a physics lab. A fourth lab is an electric and electronics lab. Each of these labs is equipped with state of the art educational kits along with measuring devices, function generators, and oscilloscopes. The other laboratories are specialized computer labs that have more than 300 computers linked in networks and covers specialized areas as: Software Development; Modeling and Simulation; Network Analysis and Design, and Software Testing.
The faculty has also a library that has all textbooks plus several periodicals and related reference books. It has also electronic library that has access to International Libraries.
All classrooms are equipped with modern education equipments and tools.
