When to Apply?
Admission is open twice a year before the Fall and Spring semesters. Registration is open all year round.

Where to Apply?
Applications are accepted at the ACU front office during the admission periods. -Application and payment are also available through a secured web page on the university web site: http://www.acu.edu.eg/acu_admission_onlineapp.htm

Who Should Apply?
Egyptians holding Thanawia Amma or equivalent certificates acceptable to the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education:
-Canadian Secondary School Certificate (CEGEP/OSSD)
-American High School Diploma
-IGCSE/GCSE/GCE -French Baccalaureate
-German Abitur -International Baccalaureate
-Australian Secondary School Certificate
-Others: Please contact the university for information about your specific program

Required Minimum Scores:
-60% in Thanawia Amma or equivalent
-55% in Thanawia Amma or equivalent for Non Egyptian Students -Other certificates: minimum C in English

- American Diploma: SAT scores as determined by the Ministry of Education.
-Each student is required to sit for an English placement test at the beginning of his/her first semester at ACU.
-Students who do not meet the English language requirements are required to take extra English language courses and a reduced course load..

Application Checklist:
-Application Form (hard copy from ACU or ONLINE)
-L.E. 500 application fee (Non-refundable)
-Photocopy of the Egyptian identification card
-Four recent color passport photos
-Official (original) secondary/post-secondary transcripts or mark sheets -Proof that you have completed a total of at least 11 years of schooling -Official TOEFL test results (ACU will administer the TOEFL to all students before the semester begins, and admitted students will be informed of exact dates)
-Instructor References (recommended but not required)
-Medical Certificate
-Original birth certificate or official copy (Mustakhrag Rasmy)

In addition to the above, Egyptian male applicants are required to submit the following:
-Namouzag 2 Gond -Applicants born on or before 1986 are required to submit an original military service card (Bitaka Askaria) or evidence of military status. Non-Egyptians should submit:
-Photocopy of passport
-Proof of financial support
