Mass Communication Degree and Careers...

The faculty follows the credit hour system. Students have to complete a total of 132 credit hours, over a four- year period. Each academic year has 2 semesters, Fall and Spring. Some courses are also offered in the Summer Session.

Majors, Minors and Academic Departments:
At the FMC, courses in the first year are common to all students. The specialized programs start in the second year.

All programs require students to successfully complete 132 credit hours (levels 1 to 4). All courses are three credit hours each, and all workshops are 6 credit hours each. The faculty offers the Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication in the following majors:

- Journalism
- Television and Radio
- Advertising and Public Relations

Each student also selects a minor from another one of the three majors, or in graphic communication, or from another ACU academic department.
