Management of Information Systems in Healthcare Institutions

Benefits and Added Value

This is a non-technical module designed for senior executives.  It is based on the concepts of the modern utilization of Information Technology tools in making and taking decisions.  The techniques and tools which will be presented in this course shall help the top management in improving their personal and organizational performance by using information systems. This module will guide you to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Set up a management information System in your organization.
  • Choose the information which is most pertinent to your needs.
  • Design methods for collecting and analyzing the necessary data.
  • Establish procedures for reporting the information to the appropriate managerial levels.
  • Manage information to take and make decisions.
