and Managing Performance Appraisal Systems
Benefits and Added Value
This module aims at introducing the participants
to the extremely important task of performance appraisal as a corner
stone in building compensation plans, training needs assessment
and motivating the employees. Performance Appraisal is the drive
for productivity and growth through reviewing historical performance
and goals, establishing future goals and identifying the opportunities
for development.
Structure
This program will be conducted over five sessions, five
hours per session, i.e. 25 hours (out of Cairo). It will cover the
following topics and issues:
- Performance appraisal systems and approaches
- Approaches for linking the job’s goals, procedures, and standers
to the overall appraisal system.
- Planning for appraisal systems
- Gaining formal and informal acceptance for the appraisal systems.
- Approaches for building the link between performance appraisal
and compensation as well as promotions.
- Techniques for training the evaluator
Target Participants
This program is targeting the current senior executives
in HR department and other departments, in order to engage them
in a brainstorming experience about contemporary performance appraisal
applications
