B : Enrollment FAQs:

1 -What is the date of enrollment?
Enrolment by early acceptance forms started on 1st of August 2005

2- What are the steps needed for enrollment in ACU
First: Purchasing the form of enrollment from the university headquarters in the 6th of October City (the price of this form is 500 L.E.)

Second: Filling in the application and submitting it back to the enrollment office in the University. (All documents needed for enrollment are stated in the form.

3- What are the required documents?
All Students should prepare the following documents when applying for ACU:

1. A copy of Thanawia Aama certificate or its equivalent.
2. A certificate of completing 11 academic years
3. A health certificate
4. 4 personal photos
5. A copy of the birth certificate
6. A copy of the personal ID
7. Essay of 150 to 300 words (Why are you applying to ACU?)

For males

8. Namouzag 2 Gond.
9. A military certificate for all those who were born in 1986 and earlier.

4-  What certificates are required for acceptance in ACU ?

1. Egyptian Thanawia Aama
2. Equivalent certificates that are accepted by the Higher Universities Council and the Ministry of Higher Education. 

5- Are there any special tests needed for acceptance in ACU ?
The level of the student’s proficiency in English language will be evaluated by a placement exam that will be conducted during the first week of September, and he/she will be accepted on the basis of his/her commitment to attend additional courses in the English language.

6- Does ACU accept transfers from other universities?
Transfer takes place in accordance with the regulating rules of universities. Subjects studied before in approved universities are transferred according to credit transfer system. Transfer acceptance depends on the availability of the suitable numbers especially in the advanced years.

7- Can those who hold Thanawia Aama certificate from earlier years apply for study in ACU?
Those who got Thanawia Aama during the last 5 years (Science Department) may be accepted in the Faculty of Pharmacy. Those who got Thanawia Aama during the last 10 years may be accepted in other faculties.

8 - Are students of foreign universities accepted?
A student is accepted as long as he/she meets all acceptance conditions of study in ACU.
