FAQs:
1- When did ACU start?, and when will the registration for Fall
2008 start?
AUC started on September 15th, 2005. Early registration for
Fall Semester 2008 is open now.
2- Can Non-Egyptian students apply to ACU?
The University accepts students other than the Egyptians, putting
in consideration that each individual case is evaluated
separately
3- What are the steps needed for enrollment in ACU?
First: Purchasing the Enrollment Form from the University
Headquarters in the 6th of October City (500 L.E.).
Second:
Filling in the Form and submitting it back to
the Admission Office.
4- What are the required documents?
All Students should prepare the following documents when applying
for ACU:

A copy of
Thanawia Amma certificate or its equivalent.

A proof
that the student has completed 11 years at school.

A medical
certificate

the Personal ID

Essay of

5- What are the Certificates accepted in ACU ?

Certificates that are accepted by the Higher Universities
Council and the Ministry of Higher Education.
6- Are there any special tests needed for acceptance in ACU?
The level of the student’s proficiency in English Language will
be evaluated by a Placement Test which will be conducted during
the first week of September. However, the result of this test
does not affect the acceptance in Ahram Canadian University.
7- Does ACU accept transfers from other Local or International
Universities?
Transfer takes place in accordance with the Rules of
Universities. Subjects studied before in approved Universities
are transferred according to credit transfer system. Transfer
acceptance depends on the number of students enrolled especially
in the advanced years.
8- Can those who hold High School Certificate from earlier years
apply for study in ACU?
Those who got High School Certificate during the last 5 years may
be accepted in the Scientific Faculties. Those who got High
School Certificate during the last 10 years may be accepted in
Theoretical Faculties.
9- Does ACU
have a special assortment system or does it follow the
Assortment Office?
Like all other private Universities, ACU does not follow the
Assortment Office. Students apply to the University directly and
they are accepted in accordance with the Rules applied to all
other private Universities that state the minimum percentages
required for acceptance in each faculty.
10- What are the minimum percentages required for acceptance in
ACU?
The percentages are as follows:

60% for
Mass Communication and Business Administration Faculties.

65% for the
Faculty Computer Sciences and Information Technology

80% for the
Faculty of Pharmacy
11- What are the minimum percentages required for acceptance in
ACU For non-Egyptian students?
